Snooki Has Officially Tied the Knot!

After watching an episode of Snooki & Jwoww in which Snooki relentlessly grills a wedding planner with outlandish requests for her big day, the pint-sized reality star's inquiries about wild animals and all other types of craziness had me convinced of two things: 1) I wouldn't wish wedding planning on my worst enemy and 2), Snooki's wedding to fiancé Jionni Lavalle was destined to be a an elaborate, My Super Sweet 16-worthy affair. But it seems, in reality, the 27-year-old's big day appears to have been a lot more tame — according to US Weekly, Snooki's finally a married woman.

According to reports, she and Lavalle exchanged vows on Saturday in Garfield, New Jersey. And while she and partner-in-crime Jwoww have both come a long way from their days partying in Seaside Heights (to to mention in Miami and Italy!), I have to say: Snooki's wedding ceremony was slightly reminiscent of her days on Jersey Shore.

As she revealed this summer, the wedding featured a Great Gatsby theme with a black and gold color scheme, which sounds super elegant and creative. But what really gives a clue that this was an official Snooki production are the cigar and scotch bar and the 18-piece band. While this still falls in theme with the whole Great Gatsby theme Snooki was going for, it also slightly sounds similar to creating a swanky club atmosphere, which is totally perfect considering Snooki's reality show history.

As unbelievable as it is, though, Snooki is definitely not the same woman we were introduced to back when Jersey Shore premiered in 2009: Not only is she the mother of 2-year-old Lorenzo and 3-month-old Giovanna Marie, but she and now-husband Lavalle recently built and moved into their first home in New Jersey. And now, it seems she can add "wife" to the mix.
