Angelina Jolie Gave Brad Pitt the Best Gift Ever

As much as everyone would love for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to divulge every single detail about their life as newlyweds, the handsome couple has made it clear that they don't want to discuss their marriage. Their discretion is respectable and understandable — and, honestly, they don't have to say much about their relationship because their actions truly do speak louder than words. Like this: According to TMZ, Angelina Jolie gave Brad Pitt one of Ernest Hemingway's typewriters as a wedding gift after they married in a surprise ceremony this past August. Is that the best gift in the history of wedding gifts, or what? Seriously: This, along with the fact that their love and respect for one another is clear in just about every photo of them together, pretty much proves that their love is a truly special one.TMZ reports the Maleficent actress spent $250,000 to purchase the last typewriter that the famous American author used before his suicide in 1961. The machine was also used by Hemingway to create his 1940 novel For Whom the Bell Tolls. Pitt and Jolie have expressed their love through some pretty awesome and unique gestures before, but this latest one just might top the list.

Considering the vintage Patek Philippe watch Jolie purchased for Pitt shortly after they exchanged vows in southern France was valued at an astounding $3 million, it seemed impossible that she could outdo herself — but she should probably start referring to herself as the dame of gift-giving. Pitt's gifts to his wife aren't too shabby either, even if they are more on the subtle end of the gift spectrum: Remember when he wore the super cute Maleficent t-shirt to support Jolie's film? Epitome of adorable.

A couple questions come to mind, though. Will Pitt actually use this typewriter? I mean, is he even supposed to? If so, I expect no less than a blockbuster script to come from that. Also, with a huge gift like this so close to the holidays, what in the world is she possibly planning to get him for Christmas?
