Lance Bass One-Ups 'NSync Reunion News

Hot off the heels of the 'NSync reunion at the 2013 VMAs, former band member and astronaut Lance Bass is engaged. The 34-year-old pop star and current Sirius XM radio host announced on Twitter that his boyfriend of over a year and a half, Michael Turchin, said yes. Bass popped the question while in New Orleans over the weekend and even texted Turchin's parents for approval before getting down on one knee. (Texting, Lance? How digital, digital get down of you.)

Turchin, an aspiring actor and model, met Bass in 2011 and apparently, these two have been tearing up each others hearts ever since. God must have spent a little more time on Turchin, because Bass never wants to say bye, bye, bye to his favorite space cowboy.

Anyway, Bravo's Andy Cohen tweeted a heartfelt "mazel" to the newly-engaged fiancés and called them a #supercouple, and a friend of Bass's told Us Weekly, "They're such a great couple, everyone is so happy for them. Their friends and family are thrilled."

As are we. 'NSync weddings are the stuff dreams are made of and we can't wait to see the guest list for this sure to be star-studded affair. Will Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel be front row? Will Chris Kirkpatrick be the ring bearer? Will Kathy Griffin officiate?

But just as long as one of them walks down the aisle to "This I Promise You," we'll consider the wedding an epic win.
