For Nicola, the Smaller the Crop Top the Better

Listen, I'm not traipsing around the streets of Paris right now, so I have no idea what the weather's like in the French capital at this time of the year. But I do know that in New York, crop top weather is almost — if not completely — dunzo. (Or rather, the time to wear crop tops paired with anything other than a high-waisted pant or midi/maxi skirt is over). So you'll have to excuse me if I think rising starlet Nicola Peltz's outfit at the 2014 Paris Fashion Week Balenciaga show is a little out of season. And a whole lot of revealing, because it consists of the teeny, tiniest crop top (some may call it a bralette) that I may have ever seen.

Pairing a set of high-rise booty shorts — not trying to sound like a prude here, but I think that's truly the appropriate name for them — with a slim, bandeau top, the young actress showed off her fit figure while taking in Alexander Wang's latest creations on the front row. Complementing the look with tousled hair and a smokey eye, while covering up the slightest bit with an oversized boyfriend blazer, the Transformers star was all sex appeal for her Paris Fashion Week appearance.

Tiny crop tops seem to be a thing for Peltz as of late, with the star showing up to the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in a (slightly) more full-coverage piece, which she paired with tailored black trousers and matching pumps.

And though it may sound like I'm a little bit critical of Peltz and her pint-sized crop tops, I think that may just be my jealousy coming through. After all, if I looked as good as she does in them, I'd be wearing barely there tops every day, too.
