Serena Van Der Woodsen Would Tear Her Website Up
What would Serena Van Der Woodsen buy from Blake Lively's online store? Welp, with all that Upper East Sider coin, probably a whole damn lot. Preserve, Lively's lifestyle website, sells small-batch artisanal products that will make your life more Pinterest-friendly. Sure, the imagery may look like something out of a Free People-styled horror film. Whatever, though! At least Lively's on-screen character Serena from Gossip Girl would love plenty of things amongst her inventory. First of all, there's TONS of stuff she would buy for Dan Humphrey. Seriously, most of the products on the site scream "I aspire to date a man who lives in a Brooklyn loft." Same goes for the prose.
Despite how predictable all of this is, it's nice to know that we can rely on this continuity between Lively's on-screen character and her real-life persona. Or at least, that's how I prefer to think of her. After all, it's pretty easy to blur the lines between the characters of Serena and Blake anyhow, given the fact that she dated her on-screen boyfriend Penn Badgley for so long. This is something she hasn't outgrown in my mind. One thing's for sure though, the grown-up Serena Van Der Woodsen would likely be super into the taste-trappings of Blake's hyper-boho e-boutique. You know, because the whole flower child thing is the perfect way to subvert the strictures of her privileged social bubble.
This adorable, but sorta revealing wrap dress...
'Cause Serena loves her some cleavage-baring frocks.
This necklace...
To accessorize her boobage, duh!
This vintage nautical-print bow tie...
Oh, and these chambray shorts...
All as gifts for the J. Crew-enthusiast and love of her life, Dan Humphrey!
This super delish-looking natural hot fudge...
Because every elusive chanteuse needs something to lick seductively off her fingers.
Even if Blake can't count on Martha Stewart as a customer, at least her fictional doppelgänger would burn up her Paypal!
