Here's Which Pokemon Hatch From Eggs In "Pokemon"
If you haven't already downloaded "Pokemon Go" from the Android or iOS store, then please tell me how I too can achieve your level of will power. If you have already given into a Pokemon-filled life, then you're probably also wandering around aimlessly trying to figure out how to use it, seeing as how it comes with basically no instructions. One of the wondrous things the app offers up are Eggs, which hatch into Pokemon. But, which Pokemon can hatch from "Pokemon Go" Eggs?
As you most likely already know, "Pokemon Go", the new augmented reality game that uses your location to allow you to catch Pokemon in real time (and your new obsession) has everyone in all types of Pokemon frenzies, one of which has to do with Eggs.
Different Pokemon hatch from different Eggs. For instance, an Egg that only takes 2 km to hatch will have a much less rare Pokemon inside it than an Egg that takes 10 km to hatch. So, if you're hoping your 2 km Egg will hatch into an Aerodactyl instead of a Pidgey, tough luck. Here's a list of Pokemon that will hatch from each type of Egg.
1. Egg Hatches After 2 Kilometers
Since these Eggs require the least amount of walking, it's no surprise that they hatch into the most common Pokemon. These Eggs will get you starter Pokemon like Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander and yes, even Pikachu. It could also hatch into one of the Pokémon that you're tired of seeing like Pidgey, Rattata and Zubat. Some of the Eggs, however, may result in pleasant surprises like Clefairy, Jigglypuff, or even Geodude. Or, it could result in some OK Pokemon like Spearow, Caterpie or Weedle. If your Egg really sucks though, it might hatch into a Magikarp. Ugh.
2. Egg Hatches After 5 Kilometers
The Eggs that take 5 km of walking to hatch can hatch into one of 43 different Pokemon, so you really won't have any idea what you're going to get from one of these Eggs. It could hatch into a really cool Pokemon like Abra, Magnemite, Farfetch'd or Kangaskhan, but it could also result in more run-of-the-mill Pokémon like Oddish, Krabby, Goldeen, Parras, Horsea or Venonat. If you love fire type Pokemon, you'll be pleased to know your Egg might hatch into a Growlithe, Ponyta or Vulpix. If water's more your style, then here's hoping your Egg hatches into a Poliwag, Shellder, Seel, Staryu or Tentacool. Your Egg could also hatch into the egg Pokémon Exeggcute.
Other potential Pokemon to get psyched about include Bellsprout, Cubone, Diglett, Doduo, Drowzee, Ekans, Ghastly, Grimer, Koffing, Lickitung, Machop, Mankey, Meowth, Mr. Mime, Nidoran♂, Nidoran♀, Porygon, Psyduck, Rhyhorn, Sandshrew, Slowpoke, Tangela, Tauros and Voltorb.
3. Egg Hatches After 10 Kilometers
Get ready for those long walks on the beach that you're so fond of. In order to hatch the best Pokemon, you have to walk 10 km. But, the walking won't be for nothing (you know, besides your health) because these Eggs will hatch into some pretty awesome Pokemon like Lapras, Scyther, Magmar, Onix, or Dratini. These Eggs could also be the Pokemon version of dinosaur eggs and hatch into prehistoric Pokémon like Kabuto, Omanyte or Aerodactyl. Some Pokemon that hatch from these Eggs will come out swinging, since there's a chance they might be Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan. Some other Pokemon that take 10 km to hatch are Chansey, Jynx, Electabuzz, Pinsir and Snorlax.
Unfortunately, your precious Egg might also hatch into an Eevee, which you probably already have 17 of. But, hey, it's not all bad. You can transfer some of those Eevees in for Eevee Candy and use the Candy to evolve an Eevee into a much cooler and rarer Pokemon like Jolteon or Flareon.
Hopefully your Egg hatches into the Pokemon you wanted. And, if it didn't, well, at least you got some exercise.
