Scarlett is Pregnant!

Avengers actress Scarlett Johansson is pregnant with her first child! The 29-year-old Black Widow actress is expecting her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac, E! news has confirmed. Johansson has been engaged for six months to Dauriac, a French journalist.

Johansson was previously married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds (who is now wed to actress Blake Lively), but divorced in July of 2011 after three years of marriage. Last December the actress told The Daily Mail she was hoping for kids in the near future. "At some point it is something I look forward to," she said. "I would like to have my own family, that would be nice. They say it's never the right time and I am sure that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else. I am fortunate in that I have had a long career—20 years—that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out."

No word yet on when we should expect the new addition, but surely Johansson has plenty of other things to think about as well, like her Oscar-winning film, Her, and the possibility of her Avengers character Black Widow getting her own spin-off.
