After getting her heart broken on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, it makes sense that JoJo would do her due diligence to protect herself during her season of The Bachelorette. That includes meeting up with the ex-girlfriends of her new suitors. How does JoJo know Jordan Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend? Homegirl did her research to see if Jordan was the marriage material she thought he could be.
Jordan’s name got leaked pretty early on into casting, so you know JoJo looked that guy up. She even admitted it to Entertainment Tonight that she learned who he was prior to filming! Why wouldn’t you? He’s handsome, tall, athletic, comes from a famous family, and has to be maybe just a little bit smart. Maybe? I don’t know. But in their latest one-on-one date, JoJo wanted to know why Jordan and his ex broke up. Did he cheat on her? Before JoJo went to Jordan, she went right to the other source — Jordan’s ex, Brittany Farrar. According to US Weekly and JoJo on the date, JoJo met up with Brittany before The Bachelorette started filming. Just a chance encounter in Dallas, you know? Apparently, Brittany told JoJo that Jordan wasn’t a great boyfriend. During the date, Jordan admitted he flirted with other women, but he never cheated on his girlfriend. Do we believe him? Honestly, I’m not sure. The way he sipped his drink as soon as soon as she asked made it seem like he was stalling for time.
At the beginning of the season, Jordan said that he and his last girl had split because he made football a priority, and Brittany put Jordan on blast on Instagram for it. But will JoJo believe her testimony over Jordan's? We'll just have to wait and see.
