Jon Groff & Lea Michele Are Broadway BFF Goals

If you didn't already know, Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff's close friendship began way back when in their Spring Awakening days, when they played star-crossed lovers Wendla and Melchior in the iconic Broadway production. In the decade since the musical debuted, Michele and Groff have established a Great White Way relationship for the ages, remaining inseparable in life, as well as in their careers. I mean, have you ever heard about that little show called, Glee? Yeah, their characters ended up as married Broadway super couple. It doesn't get realer on the friendship front than that.

Despite playing exceedingly convincing love interests in both Spring Awakening and Glee, Michele and Groff are strictly platonic. Groff is openly gay, and according to People, Michele is currently dating Robert Buckley. Groff and Michele's undeniable chemistry stems from the great rapport between them, that is easily evidenced in any shared social media pictures of the two. Actually, scratch that.
