Adele didn't just premiere her new video for her 25 track "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" Sunday night, she turned it into an event. She basically hijacked the Billboard Music Awards to debut the "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" music video, which just happens to her her first official video since she released "Hello" way back in October 2015. I know, way too long ago. The singer originally teased the "Send My Love" video on Instagram with a few second preview that showed her looking pretty ticked off. Wearing a beautiful floor length floral Dolce & Gabbana gown, her hands are on her hips, her eyes are staring dead ahead, and her mouth is perfectly pursed like it's ready to unleash a little sass when the time is right. It's clear Adele is definitely ready to rumble.
Though Adele wasn't there in person to debut her trippy new video — she's currently on tour in Europe — her presence was definitely felt. The video is directed by Patrick Daughters, who is most famous for helming the Yeah Yeah Yeahs video for "Maps." While in that clip, Karen O shouts, "Wait, they don't love you like I love you," Adele seems OK with no longer loving this guy as much as his new lover. Instead, Adele would like to send this new lover her condolences, singing, "Treat her better." A perfect kiss-off to a no good guy.
This gorgeous video also gives us a look at Adele's dance moves, so you had better check it out as soon as you can.
