'PLL' Star Brandon Jones May Face Jail Time

by Jamie Primeau

Shocking news for Pretty Little Liars fans — and nope, it has nothing to do with Uber A. Actor Brandon Jones was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on his neighbor in March, according to E! News. Jones is best known for playing Andrew Campbell on PLL . E! reports, per a statement from the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, that Jones allegedly brandished a knife and later pointed a gun at his neighbor during a fight. In a statement to TMZ, the actor's rep said,

It is our understanding that the gun in Mr. Jones' possession was fully legal and registered, that he was on his girlfriend's private property, and that he and his girlfriend felt that they were under threat in a dispute with neighbors.

Following the arrest on March 24, Jones was released the next morning on a $50,000 bond, according to E!, and is due to be arraigned on Thursday, April 14. TMZ reported that he faces a felony charge for assault with a firearm, although the 27-year-old did not actually fire the gun. But because he is accused of pointing the weapon at his neighbor, the alleged incident could still count as an assault.

Jones also received two misdemeanor charges, including allegedly exhibiting a deadly weapon and allegedly exhibiting a concealable firearm in public. The latter charge stems from a previous incident in October 2015, in which he "allegedly exhibited a hidden handgun during a dispute with a neighbor at his North Hills home, prosecutors said," according to E!. If convicted, Jones could face up to five-and-a-half years in prison. However, his rep told TMZ that they're confident Jones will be exonerated.

Fans may remember that Jones' character Andrew Campbell was arrested on PLL during Season 6. Unfortunately, this arrest is real.
