Khloe Almost Didn't Get A Lob

Though it was a little shocking and unexpected at first, by now you've probably fallen in love with Khloe Kardashian's short hair — but it almost didn't happen. Khloe Kardashian's hairstylist didn't want to give her a lob, according to Us Weekly, and when you hear the reason why, you'll wish your stylist had your back like that.

I feel like whenever I go to the salon for a major change on a whim, I end up regretting it and am ultimately unhappy. But Kardashian's stylist, Jen Atkin, was not about to let that happen to her. Though we're all in love with her fun and edgy lob now, Atkin revealed that she initially refused to cut it. Kardashian opened up to Us Weekly, telling them that when she was in the hospital with Lamar, she realized she was over her hair and just couldn't deal with it anymore, so she called Atkin and asked for a haircut, and was promptly refused. “She was like, ‘I am not cutting your hair when you’re this emotional!’” Kardashian told Us . Seriously, if only my stylist refused my crazy, emotional demands, a lot of trauma would be spared.

So how did the chop end up happening? Apparently, Kardashian threatened to do it herself if Atkin wouldn't, so when she heard that, she headed right over to give her the fashion lob we're now all obsessed with.

In truth, it's pretty cool that Atkin had her back like that. I mean, we've all been there, wanting to make a drastic change when we're emotional, and sometimes it's better to just hold off until we sure we know we want it. But given how incredible it looks on Khloe...

I'm pretty glad Atkin stepped up and gave her the chop. Besides, if Khloe had done it herself, I'm not sure it would have turned out this fierce.

DIY cuts? Now that could have been a seriously terrible hair disaster.
