Marvel has big plans for its next blockbuster. It's going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after all. And the Captain America: Civil War children's books? You'll want to buy those bad boys for yourself.
Comic book fans have been looking forward to Captain America: Civil War for quite some time. Loosely based on the Civil War mini-series from Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, the film focuses on the Avengers' and others' reactions to the Superhero Registration Act. Iron Man leads the heroes — including War Machine and Vision — who support the Act, while Ant-Man, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, and Bucky Barnes, among others, rally with Captain America in opposition. Caught in the middle are the ambivalent Black Widow, Spider-Man, and Black Panther.
Prices on the Captain America: Civil War children's books range from $3.99 to $6.99. Marvel has done a great job of giving kids at all reading levels the chance to enjoy text-based Avengers adventures. Several of the tie-in novels come with extra goodies, such as posters and stickers, and one of them is flippable, allowing you to choose whether you want to be on #TeamIronMan or #TeamCaptainAmerica. Don't tell me you don't want to buy at least one of these.
Captain America: Civil War comes to your local movie theater on May 6. You can pick up the Captain America: Civil War children's books at a bookstore near you, beginning April 12.
