Adele Goes Ombre At 2016 Grammys
Adding another layer of awesome to her breathtaking performance, Adele debuted ombre hair at the 2016 Grammys and she couldn't have been more perfect. The singer arrived on the red carpet in a beaded, black Givenchy dress, which was already quite a stunner, but her new 'do made the look even more of a head turner. As if it's possible to love Adele any more, she just turned ombre into the 2016 hair trend that you're going to want to get asap.
Ever since she made a splash with her debut album 19, Adele's hair has evolved from '60s-inspired styles with an auburn tint, into a more modern lob that has been lightened into blonde territory. However, this year's Grammys, which marked a triumphant return for the singer, also gave her an opportunity to try something new. Depending on how the lights hit her locks from every angle on the red carpet, Adele's hair color shifts from a honey colored, to a golden brown midway through, and down to her platinum blonde ends.
Paired with her rosy blush, pink lips, and dark liner, Adele's gorgeous ombre pops even more. And that irresistible smile of hers just makes all of us swoon with delight. Exhibit A:
Raise your hand if you rocked #hairgoals at the Grammys.
Adele changed into an equally elegant ruby gown for her performance, but that spotlight just showed the varying shades of her hair even more.
Regardless of how many trophies she wins tonight, the 2016 Grammys belong to Adele and her new ombre hair.
