Even though the Tanners were a tight-knit family that doesn't mean the Full House cast is still super close in real life. For example, Candace Cameron Bure wasn't invited to Mary-Kate Olsen's wedding, the actress revealed to Cosmopolitan. "[My invitation] must have gotten lost in the mail somewhere," she said. Her comments didn't stop there, because she kind of took a dig at the "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes" Olsen and her husband Oliver Sarkozy reportedly had at the wedding. "I wonder how that would be — I don't know," Bure said. "I'm not a smoker, so I might not have had so much fun. I'm really happy for Mary-Kate though. I really am."
Are you Bure? Are you "really happy" for your former TV sister? I'm sure she truly sends nothing but happiness Olsen's way, but does anyone else think she sounds bitter? Her comments sure bring back memories of her Full House character D.J. Tanner every time she got in trouble or had an argument with sisters Michelle and Stephanie. She'd get angry and argue, until she finally realized just how wrong she was. Remember that time Stephanie copied D.J. and how irritated she got? Or that time she and Danny had different opinions about driving? Granted, Danny was being way too paranoid. Anyways, I have a feeling Danny Tanner would be giving his eldest daughter some words of advice right now.
At least she wasn't the only one not invited. I mean, both Bure's TV dad Bob Saget and her TV uncle Dave Coulier didn't receive an invite, either. During an interview with Today, Saget said, "I was not invited, but I'm very happy and I sent a Mazel tov text. I'm very happy. I love her very much. I hope they're happy." As for Coulier, he told Entertainment Tonight via a statement, "I'd like to congratulate Mary-Kate and wish her and her husband all the happiness in the world. Sending my love."
Once again, the adults are teaching D.J. Tanner a thing or two.
