These VS Fashion Show Illustrations Are Stunning
Of course, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we couldn’t be more excited that the time has finally come! That’s right — the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show aired on TV Tuesday night. In honor of the highly anticipated runway show, the artist behind Chic Sketch recreated the best moments from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, because the only thing better than actually being at the show in person is scrolling through these drawings.
There are plenty of photos from the show online, and obviously many people tuned in to watch it on TV, but these drawings are extra special because they interpret the models and outfits in a whole new light. Emily Brickel brings the models to life in an illustrative manner, and I swear I didn’t know these ladies could look any better, but somehow, when turned into art —they do. It’s not just the Victoria’s Secret models either — thanks to the Chic Sketch app, you can have yourself turned into an awesome fashion illustration too.
Brickel and her husband, Jordan Edelson, founded Chic Sketch as a way for anyone to turn their latest OOTD into a work of art. So, join the ranks of these models and have your legacy live on in custom-drawing form, too.
1. Gigi Hadid
She makes one beautiful butterfly IRL.
And she looks just as ethereal in this drawing.
2. Kendall Jenner
Jenner killed it on the runway.
She makes for one beautiful illustration, too.
3. Joan Smalls
Feathers and bright colors made this outfit so fun.
The texture of the feathers look even better on the page, if you ask me.
4. Alessandra Ambrosio
She killed it in this feathered number.
The colors in this ensemble really pop.
5. Behati Prinsloo
She was a '70s dream in this ensemble.
I bet this look made for one fun drawing session. Just look at all of the colors she got to use!
6. Lily Aldridge
She looks absolutely gorgeous flaunting this year's fantasy bra.
It looks like just as much of a fantasy in the illustrated version.
Told you the drawings were gorgeous! Download the Chic Sketch app to have your very best looks live on as a work of art, too.
