I've come to expect a lot from Rita Ora on the red carpet. Ever since I saw her at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, she's been one of my favorites to watch. Rita Ora's Bambi Awards gown is proof positive that while this star may be a bit of a wild card on the red carpet, when she slays, she slays hard. While she does slip-up — like most people — when she's on point, she's killer. To be honest, I can't even stop staring at her gorgeous Marchesa gown.
Ora's style wavers occasionally, but that's one of her best qualities in my opinion. The talented singer and actress can rock incredible old Hollywood styles, bright colors, and nude illusions flawlessly. Then, she'll turn around and rock kind of questionable looks that may not have panned out as planned. However, it's her willingness to take risks and be confident in all situations that make her one of my favorite new style icons.
Tonight, at the 2015 Bambi Awards, Ora was accepting the international music award during the evening, and the accomplishment is one to be celebrated. However, I can't just gloss over her spectacular, full skirted, cleavage barring Marchesa dress that stole the show.
At first I definitely thought this gown was a Giambattista Valli. I mean, just look at that stunning full skirt!
However, upon closer inspection of the sparkling bodice, it was clear this gown was all Marchesa. The detailing of the deep v-neck, and the sweet sparkles on the sleeves are everything.
Plus, can we just talk about the way that spectacular skirt fades from deep slate gray to a cool mint tone? Ombre perfection!
The train of the gown is equally as grand. This is definitely one hell of a fashion moment for Ora.
