Natasha & Fred Are Adorable Emmy Dates

Although Natasha Lyonne doesn't have a nomination for her work in Orange is the New Black at this year's Emmy Awards, she doesn't seem too upset by the snub (see: her huge grin on the red carpet). Maybe that's because she has rumored boyfriend, Fred Armisen by her side. Though its been reported Lyonne and Armisen are dating, they haven't confirmed the rumors themselves, and at this point we can only speculate (aka hope) that they actually a thing. Because, seriously, how cute are these two?

Let's look at the evidence here. The rumored couple showed up at last year's Emmys — looking giddy and just as adorable as they do this year — and Lyonne even admitted to some sexting on the red carpet. We can only assume that she was probably talking about her date, Armisen. "This is not a G-rated text message I'm sending right now," she admitted to E!'s Ross Matthews last year.

I don't know about you, but I'm loving that for them. Sounds like Lyonne, not unlike her OITNB character, Nicky Nichols, isn't afraid to be forward when it comes to her love life. It's the perfect compliment to Armisen's quirky sense of humor and demeanor. From the looks of their red carpet chemistry, these two seem to have a pretty solid bond. It was sort of unclear exactly why Armisen was sporting that Freddy Kreuger hand, but at least it made his date laugh! Perhaps, that's why I'm rooting for the couple so much — they seem to really enjoy each other's company. (Seriously though, look at those smiles!) And what's even more adorable is how low-key and out of the spotlight they've managed to stay. I can only speculate what these two would do on any given Sunday. Stay in, watch Netflix, and talk about how amazing their careers have been? A girl can dream!

So here's to you, Lyonne and Armisen, and all of your adorableness. Keep doing what you're doing. I already can't wait to see you on next year's Emmys red carpet!
