You know those people who get bored easily with their hair? Ciara is definitely one of them. Ciara debuted bangs in her latest Instagram photo and it totally transformed her look, in the best way possible. I didn't know I could love her hair or style anymore than I already did, but girl just proved me wrong.
It's only been two weeks since the 29-year-old R&B star chopped off her hair for the MTV Video Music Awards. Perhaps she became bored of the limited styles she could rock with the bob, or maybe she just wanted to up her game for New York Fashion Week. Either way, I am totally in support of this new fresh look.
In the Instagram photo she posted, Ciara showed off her new bangs, which framed her face and complimented her new bob perfectly. Her bangs are not too short, nor are they too long or too wispy — they fall right above her eyes, while still covering her brows in a refined, yet messy way. You know, that I-didn't-wake-up-like-this-but-I-look-like-I-did sort of thing? Yeah, Ciara totally owns that look right now, and I need to know her styling secrets. It's totally 70s-esque, but somehow, Ciara makes it look modern and new. How does she do it?!
Ciara's caption was pretty straightforward, reading, "#Bangs. On The Way.. #Givenchy #GRTnyc17. #nyfw" Ciara knew she didn't need to dance around the subject, because obviously the bangs were the star of the photo and what everyone would freak out over. And freak out, they did. There are already over 38,000 likes on the photo and 644 comments. @merecbear wrote, "best bangs or BEST BANGS??" and @savagelexi commented, "LOVE the hair!" followed by 100 percent and handclap emojis.
