Miranda Lambert Goes Platinum Blonde

Blondes, brunettes, red heads, rainbow heads—you know who has the most fun? Miranda Lambert, who just went platinum blonde does! The singer showed off her new look on Instagram on Thursday, and can I just say, I'm in love with the lighter tint that totally brightens up her entire look.

Captioned, "What doesn't kill you makes you blonder," which is a lyric from Track 1 on her Platinum album, the selfie already has some amazing responses, with comments like "You're so pretty I want to grow up to be like you," and "get it gurrrrlllll." And of course, since she's recently split up with Blake Shelton, there's some comments in there about how he's totally missing out.

Stylist Lee Wright from Nashville's Style House Salon is to credit for the gorgeous new look. He told People, “She had been going with a darker blonde the last six months or so, closer to her natural color. She sat down in the chair yesterday and we both said, ‘Let’s go really blonde again.’ She loved it—I spun her around, like, ‘You’re back!'”

Miranda is definitely not one to shy away from a different look, as evident in her array of hairstyles throughout the years, from long, soft beach waves, to a chic bob, and even to fishtail braids. She pretty much has a new 'do for each award ceremony, and they all look so damn good. It's no surprise that this new color perfectly frames her face, as well.

Of course, who can deny that she still looks gorgeous in this darker, almost brown blonde shade. Bronde anyone?

And if you're looking to make the switch to this stunning hair color, make sure to do your research first on everything you should know before going platinum. Cause lord knows, bleaching your hair and screwing it up is probably the last thing you want to do!

Though this bright look is not what you'd expect for fall, Wright told People, "It’s Miranda. She doesn’t follow trends!” You do you, girl, cause you're doing it all sorts of right!
