9 Reasons To Love Meghan King Edmonds

I'm at this somewhat pathetic point where the Real Housewives have really become a part of my life. Yes, I'm aware that it's essentially a one-sided relationship, but that doesn't make me care less. I am very devoted and watch all the shows from all of the cities, and I feel like I have some sort of friendship with the various ladies. That's why it's a major deal when someone new joins the cast. The newest Real Housewife is Meghan King Edmonds, who joined The Real Housewives of Orange County. I feel bad for Meghan because the women have not given her the most welcoming reception, but unlike them, I am actually a fan of hers already.

Don't get me wrong, Meghan is definitely a departure from the rest of the cast, but I think that's a good thing. She has a wonderful personality, and I think that the fans and her fellow Housewives should give her a chance. RHOC is just starting to get juicy this season, so you are going to be seeing a lot of Meghan and might as well be open to having a new favorite Housewife to watch. There are so many reasons that you should love Meghan King Edmonds. (Vicki and Shannon, this one's for you.)

1. She's Honest

Meghan may be the new girl in the O.C., but she is far from timid. She has no qualms about sharing her opinion, so us fans always know where her head is at.

2. She's A Great Stepmom

The 30-year-old does what she can to be involved in her stepchildren's lives, and she does a great job.

3. She Stands Up For Herself

Meghan is not going to let anyone walk all over her. She even stands up to O.C. queen bee Vicki Gunvalson.

4. She's An Entrepreneur

Vicki had a serious issue with Meghan's financial situation this season on RHOC since she does not go to a 9-to-5 job. Just because Meghan does not have a typical career, that doesn't mean that she's living off of her husband. She has her own online store full of her hashtag decorated hats and she is also the Director of Sales for Sweat Cosmetics.

5. She's Has A Different Point Of View

It's nice to have a different perspective on RHOC. Meghan is only 30, which is something the other ladies hate on her for, but I think it's great to have someone with a different point of view.

6. She Has Pink Hair

How can you not like someone who isn't afraid to dye her hair pink? She has fun and doesn't take herself to seriously. Plus, she dyed it pink to honor Leann Edmonds (Jim Edmonds' ex-wife) after she died, which is very sweet.

7. She's Adventurous

Meghan is always doing some sort of activity. She's not the kind of girl who likes to sit around. She enjoys sports and traveling.

8. She's Not Afraid To Work Hard

She's not afraid to get her hands dirty and work hard. Just look at that drill, people!

9. She Likes To Eat

Meghan is always snacking on something delicious, so foodies will love scrolling through her Instagram pics.

Meghan King Edmonds might be the new girl on RHOC, but that doesn't mean we should all haze her. There are a lot of great things about the newly minted reality star and we (fellow Housewives included!) should all give her a chance.
