What Is Jill Zarin's Daughter Ally Up To?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that there are plenty of great perks to having a mom who is a rich and famous reality television star, but still, I imagine that being the son or daughter of one of the Real Housewives has got to be pretty tough sometimes. These women are far from shy and being on reality TV means that they are essentially required to share every update about their lives. And when you're a mom, it makes sense that a lot of your conversations revolve around your children. I'm sure a lot of the Real Housewives kids have felt pretty embarrassed about their mothers oversharing on camera. One of the first kids who comes to mind is Ally Shapiro, Jill Zarin's daughter who was featured on The Real Housewives of New York City.

Jill got a lot of heat for making comments about her daughter's weight back when she was a cast member on RHONY. Those scenes were cringeworthy and tough to forget. Of course, the most interesting and potentially controversial scenes are always going to be the ones that air, so it's possible Jill's words weren't a good representation of her typical interactions with her daughter.

Ally double-majored in Film and Sociology at Vanderbilt University and graduated in May 2014. As you might remember from RHONY, she used to attend Sarah Lawrence before transferring.

Jill Zarin and Millionaire Matchmaker host Patti Stanger have been pretty open about their close friendship, so it's not too shocking that Ally went on the show to find a match. It's a little unclear to me if Ally and the man she was paired up with are still together, but it seemed like things were going well for a while!
